Tinsel Town Event / Case study
A Holiday Walk-Through Guests Can Picture—and Plan
Tinsel Town’s branded event site brings its 20-room Christmas village to life, then connects the guest experience with visit details, regional travel guidance and custom QR ticketing.
The brief in context
Built around the way people actually use it.
Tinsel Town is an indoor, walk-through Christmas attraction in Vegreville, Alberta. Its website introduces a festive journey through 20 themed rooms, including Santa’s Workshop, Frosty’s Forest, the Toy Factory and The Polar Express. Lights, music and photo-friendly displays help visitors picture an indoor holiday outing.
The event story connects with a self-guided-visit description, FAQs, regional location pages and a date-selection ticket calendar. The custom-branded ticketing platform includes online sales, payment processing, automated ticket delivery and QR scanning without a per-ticket platform fee; payment processor charges still apply. The visible ticket schedule represents a previous season; dates for a current season are not confirmed.
Families and groups looking for an indoor holiday outing, visitors planning a festive walk-through with children, and guests traveling to Vegreville from Edmonton or central Alberta.
01 / Context
The challenge
A seasonal indoor attraction needs to make its multi-room experience easy to imagine while providing practical details families need to plan a visit. The project also called for a branded ticket path and QR ticket capability without a per-ticket platform fee, with payment processor costs still applying.
02 / Decisions
The approach
AnyWeb shaped the event site around the guest journey: discover the 20-room Christmas village, learn about the visit, find regional travel guidance and continue to date selection. The custom ticketing platform adds online sales, payment processing, automated ticket delivery and QR scanning under the event’s own brand.

Why it matters
What this means for the business.
01
Help visitors picture the outing
Room names, display imagery and a clear description of the walk-through set expectations before a family or group decides whether to visit.
02
Bring planning details closer to booking
The date calendar, variable-hours note, FAQ and regional location pages connect event discovery with practical next steps.
03
No per-ticket platform fee
The ticketing platform has no per-ticket platform fee, while payment processing costs remain in place.
The transferable idea
What another business can take from this
A seasonal attraction needs more than a ticket button: guests want to picture the experience, understand the visit and plan the trip. AnyWeb can connect those details with a branded ticketing journey, including date selection and QR tickets, to make the whole event experience feel cohesive.
