Bulletproof Design Studio / Case study
One design. Every machine. A connected way to publish.
A private design and uploading studio for Bulletproof Graphics: bring in artwork, choose target machines, prepare colour variants and turn reviewed designs into Shopify products with customer customization.
The brief in context
Built around the way people actually use it.
The customer sees a graphics store. The Bulletproof team needs a way to create and maintain the products behind it. Anyweb built a private studio around that work: upload source artwork, select machines, set colour options and prepare products for the Shopify storefront.
The Concept Designs workflow starts with a design and its source image, then lets staff select target machines and named palettes. Matching source views can be reused, while AI-assisted image workflows support previews for other target machines. Saved progress and per-target status help the team return to a batch without treating each product as a fresh task.
Finished modern designs have a separate uploading path, with machine placement, product photos, base pricing, premium material pricing and a review step before Shopify publication. The wider workspace brings the design library, chassis and fitment, vintage work, source files, orders and print-file references into one application.
Bulletproof Graphics staff preparing concept graphics, finished modern products and vintage designs, with machine-specific catalogue placement and Shopify publishing requirements.
01 / Context
The challenge
One artwork direction can need several machine-specific products, colour options, previews, prices and fitment records. Preparing those details separately in the store adds repeated work and makes it harder to keep source artwork, product status and customer customization connected.
02 / Decisions
The approach
Give the staff a purpose-built workspace for artwork and product preparation. Separate concept creation from finished-art uploads, capture machine selection and pricing in the workflow, keep progress against individual targets, and connect reviewed products to the Shopify catalogue and its customer editor.
- 01
Start from source artwork
The guided creator accepts up to 50 source designs in a batch, then moves through target-machine selection and product creation. Concept, AI-assisted, dropped-concept and finished-art paths are available in the workspace.
- 02
One design across selected machines
Target machines have their own saved progress, previews and product status. A matching source view can be reused, and additional chassis can be added to a saved design.
- 03
Named palettes and image-quality choices
Staff can prepare editable colour variants with primary, secondary and accent colours, choosing between a faster recolour workflow and an AI-assisted high-quality image workflow.
- 04
Dedicated modern and vintage uploaders
Finished-design batches accept up to 100 photos. Modern products capture machine type, make, chassis, base price and premium materials; vintage products use exact year, make, model, category and a single selling price.
- 05
Publishing status stays with the product
The searchable library groups designs with their machine products, live or draft status and preview actions. Category and status filters help staff find work, and the concept workflow retains completed steps for resuming interrupted batches.
- 06
The preparation feeds customer customization
Published concept products carry the machine, palette and product setup used by the customer-facing colour, text and logo editor.
- 07
A workspace for the work around the design
Navigation brings together the design library, chassis and fitment, modern premade designs, vintage work, source files, orders and print-file references, and store connections.

03 / Outcome
What the build makes possible
A dedicated staff application connects artwork intake, machine selection, colour setup and product publishing. The studio complements the public Bulletproof Graphics store: the team prepares the designs and product information in one workspace, while customers discover and personalize them through the storefront.

Why it matters
What this means for the business.
01
Repeat the workflow, preserve the design
A source design and its target machines stay connected, giving staff a repeatable way to prepare related products.
02
Bring catalogue knowledge into the upload
Machine placement, fitment and pricing become part of the preparation workflow, instead of separate details to reconstruct for each store listing.
03
Keep unfinished work understandable
Saved steps, target status and publication state give staff a clearer starting point when returning to a design or an interrupted batch.
04
Join the staff and customer experiences
The studio prepares the product choices that customers encounter in the storefront, connecting behind-the-scenes work with the shopping experience.
The transferable idea
What another business can take from this
A storefront is only one part of a custom-product business. Anyweb can build the staff workflow that turns artwork, business rules and product knowledge into the catalogue customers actually use.
About these screens
Screens captured from the signed-in live studio in October 2026. Sample product names, prices and publication status reflect the captured views. This gallery is a visual walkthrough; studio access remains private. Concept previews are reviewed and final production artwork is completed separately.
