RV Marketplace Platform / Case study

One RV Marketplace for Buying, Selling and Finding Service

A custom RV marketplace brings vehicle listings and service providers together, with location- and type-based discovery, detailed listings and direct contact paths.

The brief in context

Built around the way people actually use it.

The RV Marketplace Platform brings buyers, sellers, dealers and service providers into one destination designed around the RV market. The custom database-backed platform brings together user accounts, RV listing management, a service-provider directory, search and filters, and inquiry workflows.

Visitors can browse RVs for sale separately from RV services. Shoppers can explore inventory by vehicle type and location, refine and sort results, then open a listing for photos, asking price, seller description, specifications, amenities and contact options. Service listings bring together provider details, location, service tags and, where supplied, ratings, alongside call, email and directions links. The on-platform message action directs people to sign in or create an account.

Designed for

RV shoppers comparing new and used vehicles; private owners and dealerships listing RVs; and RV repair shops, mobile mechanics, and other service providers looking to be discoverable by nearby owners.

01 / Context

The challenge

RV buyers, sellers and service providers need a shared place to meet, but their listings and recommendations are often scattered across classified sites, social groups and word of mouth. A useful marketplace must do more than display ads: it needs RV-specific ways to search, compare vehicles, present services and start an inquiry.

02 / Decisions

The approach

AnyWeb built a custom, database-backed marketplace with two clear discovery paths: RV inventory and RV services. Vehicle-type and location navigation, filters and sorting help shape inventory browsing, while detailed listing pages bring photos, specifications and seller contact together. The provider directory organizes services by location and specialty, with direct contact routes; the project also includes account, listing-management and inquiry workflows.

  • 01

Browse by RV type and location

Shoppers can browse Class A, B and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers, toy haulers, truck campers and pop-up campers, then narrow by city, province or state.

  • 02

    Purposeful inventory discovery

Type and location controls, optional filters, recommended or newest sorting, and quick-search groups such as budget, family, lightweight and newer RVs give shoppers several ways to narrow the inventory.

  • 03

    Listings with useful context

An individual RV page brings together a photo gallery, asking price, owner description, location, structured specifications, amenities, and seller contact options.

  • 04

A directory built around RV services

Service-provider cards identify location and offered service types, show ratings where available, and surface service-pricing information plus call, email, and directions links.

  • 05

    Distinct routes for selling

The Sell Your RV page offers distinct routes for complete vehicles and parts or salvage, with a review-and-follow-up process for each.

  • 06

    Account-based listing and inquiry paths

Sign-in and posting entry points support the marketplace’s account-based registration, listing-management and inquiry scope. On-platform messaging is identified as a sign-in or account-creation step.

03 / Outcome

What the build makes possible

The marketplace brings RV inventory and service discovery into a single, purpose-built destination. Buyers can move from type- and location-based browsing to listings with photos, specifications and seller contact options, while RV owners can find service providers by location and specialty. Sellers and service businesses have dedicated paths to represent their offerings, supported by account and inquiry workflows.

Why it matters

What this means for the business.

01

Help buyers narrow their search

Vehicle-type and location navigation gives shoppers practical starting points for exploring a broad catalog and comparing options relevant to their trip and region.

02

Keep listing context together

Structured detail pages place photos, price, specifications, amenities, and seller contact choices in one record, making the information needed for an inquiry easier to find.

03

Connect inventory discovery with service discovery

A dedicated directory gives service businesses a structured public presence and gives RV owners a direct route to local repair, maintenance, and mobile-service contacts.

The transferable idea

What another business can take from this

When a specialized market has several audiences to serve, AnyWeb can build the discovery paths around what each one needs. This marketplace pairs RV-specific inventory browsing with detailed listings, seller inquiries and a service directory, giving buyers, sellers and service businesses a shared place to connect.
